This Data Protection Policy and Privacy Notice (“Policy”) sets out the basis which Mekar (“we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data of our customers in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”). This Policy applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data in the possession of organisations which we have engaged to collect, use, disclose or process personal data for our purposes.

We collect and process personal data provided by you, the schools (as defined below), or other third parties. Additional data may also be collected from your interactions with the Platform. By using our Platform and the services provided through it ('Services'), you agree that you have read this Data Protection Policy and accept its terms. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice to you. Continued use of the Platform following revisions constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

If you provide us with data about another individual (e.g., emergency contacts), you confirm that you have obtained their consent to share such data.

What Personal Data Do We Collect?

We use Cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience. Cookies are small data files that enable the Platform to recognize your browser or device during repeated visits. Cookies allow us to: Streamline your navigation and preferences on the Platform. Track user interactions and improve the Platform.
